What is manned guarding?
Manned guarding, also known as manned security services, means placing trained, SIA-licensed security officers on your site to protect people, property and stock in person. CCTV and alarms can only record or raise an alert; a guard can spot a problem early, step in and deal with it on the spot.
Officers check visitors and vehicles, patrol the site, respond to alarms and call the emergency services when needed. Many clients combine officers for complete cover: a static guard on site in the day plus a patrol officer or security dog team out of hours.
